Thirty-eight year old RHP Casey Lawrence has been signed by the Phillies to a minor league contract and will eventually be assigned to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs as a starting pitcher. Lawrence was released by the Seattle Mariners on 8/8/26 - he had been pitching for their triple A affiliate Tacoma where he made 26 starts (131.2 IP) posting a 4.37 ERA with 79 K’s and 19 walks.
