Dominican Winter League :
12/11/24 action : center fielder Johan Rojas went 1 for 4 (single) with two stolen bases for Gigantes del Cibao in a 3-2 loss to Toros del Este. Former Phillies minor league RHP Joel Cesar pitched a scoreless inning in the game for the Gigantes - in nine appearances this season he’s posted a 0.00 ERA (9.1 IP) with 12 K’s and 3 walks - 4 hits allowed - a 0.75 WHIP. Former Phillies minor league infielder Jonathan Villar went 2 for 5 (singles) for Aguilas Cibaeñas in a 4-3 win over Tigres del Licey.
Colombia Winter League :
12/11/24 action : Nolan Beltran went 1 for 3 (single) with a walk playing left field for Tigres de Cartagena in a 5-2 loss to Vaqueros de Monteria. Former Phillies minor league outfielder Jhailyn Ortiz went 2 for 4 (single & double) with two RBIs and a run scored for the Toros de Sincelejo in a 8-5 loss to Caimanes de Barranquilla.
Venezuela Winter League :
12/11/24 action : former Phillies infielder Cesar Hernandez went 1 for 4 (HR) with a walk, RBI and run scored for Tiburones de La Guaira in a 12-4 loss to Leones del Caracas. Right fielder Leandro Pineda was 1 for 3 (single) for Navegantes del Magallanes in a 8-3 loss to Aguilas del Zulia.
Mexican Pacific Winter League :
12/11/24 action : former Phillies minor league LHP JP Woodward racked up another scoreless inning (1 H, 3 K’s) for Venados de Mazatlán in a 4-3 win over Cañeros de Los Mochis. Woodward lowers his season ERA to 2.73 in 28 games (26.1 IP) and has not allowed a run in his last 13 appearances (13 IP) posting 18 K’s against just one walk and allowing six hits during that span. He’s a free agent who should be signed by someone - just sayin 🤔. Former Phillies minor league first baseman Joey Meneses went 3 for 4 (two singles & double) with an RBI for Tomateros de Culiacán in a 7-3 win against Águilas de Mexicali.
Australian Winter League :
12/11/24 action : former Phillies minor league infielder Nick Ward (3B) went 2 for 3 (single & HR) with a walk, RBI and two runs scored. Nikau Pouaka-Grego (2B) was 1 for 3 (single) with a walk. Catcher Luis Caicuto was 2 for 4 (single & double) and former Phillies minor leaguer Rixon Wingrove (1B) was 1 for 4 (double) with a run scored. Free agent LHP Lachlan Wells started and pitched 5 innings (3 H, 2 BB, 9 K’s - 89 pitches - 58 strikes) and RH Estibenzon Jimenez pitched 1.2 innings (1 H, 1 BB, 3 K’s - 30 pitches - 19 strikes) in a 6-0 win for the Adelaide Giants over the Melbourne Aces. Former Phillies minor league catcher Mitchell Edwards was 2 for 2 (singles) with a walk for Melbourne.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
12/11/24 action : former Phillies minor league RHP Julian Garcia pitched six innings (1 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 9 K’s) for Senadores de San Juan in a 3-2 win against Leones de Ponce.
Panama Winter League :
12/11/24 action : catcher Eduardo Tait went 2 for 4 with two singles for Águilas Metropolitanas in a 5-2 win against Los Nacionales.
