Game One : Adelaide 2 (16-10) Melbourne 1 (14-12)
LHP Braeden Fausnaught started and went 3.2 innings (1 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s - 73 pitches - 44 strikes). First baseman Rixon Wingrove was 2 for 2 with a walk and RBI. Catcher Andrick Nava was 1 for 3 with a home run and RBI.
For Melbourne catcher Declan Speirs (18 year old from Carlton, VIC, Australia who was signed by the Phillies on 9/12/23) was 1 for 3 with a single.

Game Two : Adelaide 3 (17-10) Melbourne 2 (14-13)
Former Phillies minor leaguer Nick Ward singled, walked twice and scored two runs out of the lead off spot in the order. Rixon Wingrove singled and walked in five plate appearances and Andrick Nava singled, walked twice and had an RBI, he’s now hitting .320 (24 for 75) with 5 home runs and RBIs for the season. RHP Josh Bortka earned the win with two scoreless innings (1 H, 1 HB, 4 K’s - 34 pitches - 22 strikes) to close out the game. Josh now has a 0.84 ERA in 8 appearances (10.2 IP) with 17 K’s for the season.

Dominican Professional Baseball League :
12/29 : Former Phillies LHP Austin Davis pitched three innings (1 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 3 K’s) for Estrellas Orientales in a 2-0 loss to Tigres del Licey. Former Phillies minor league infielder Jonathan Guzman went 2 for 3 with a double and walk for Leones del Escogido in a 4-3 loss to Gigantes del Cibao.
Venezuelan Professional Baseball League :
12/29 : RHP Eiberson Castellano pitched 2.1 scoreless frames (4 H - 42 pitches - 31 strikes) for Aguilas del Zulia in a 7-2 playoff game win over Tigres de Aragua. Former Phillie Freddy Galvis went 4 for 6 in the game for Aguilas with two RBIs.

12/29 : RHP Carlos Francisco pitched a perfect inning in relief for Indios de Mayaguez against the Leones de Ponce in a 9-2 win.
