Dominican Winter League :
12/4/24 action : former Phillies minor league outfielder Herlis Rodriguez went 3 for 5 for Leones del Escogido in a 3-0 loss to Estrellas Orientales.
Australian Baseball League :
The Phillies contingent plays for the Adelaide Giants.
12/4/24 : Adelaide 6 (6-7) Brisbane 5 (3-9)
Catcher Luis Caicuto went 2 for 3 with a walk and run scored. Former Phillies minor leaguer Rixon Wingrove was 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs. Third baseman Nikau Pouaka-Grego walked twice in four plate appearances and former Phillies minor leaguer Nick Ward was 1 for 3 with a run scored, he played second base. Free agent LHP Lachlan Wells pitched five innings (3 R, 4 H, 1 BB,10 K’s) and RHP Estibenzon Jimenez pitched a perfect inning in relief striking out the side (15 pitches - 9 strikes).
Former Phillies minor league catcher Mitchell Edwards went 3 for 4 with a run scored for Melbourne in a 10-2 win over Perth.
Mexican Winter League :
12/4/24 action : former Phillies minor league LHP JP Woodward threw a scoreless inning in relief for Venados de Mazatlán in a 3-0 win over Tomateros de Culiacán. The 26 year old current free agent has now appeared in 26 games (24.1 IP) and has a 2.96 ERA and has not allowed a run in his last 11 appearances (11 IP) posting 14 K’s against just one walk and allowing five hits.
Venezuela Winter League :
12/4/24 action : RHP Saul Teran pitched a scoreless inning in relief (0 H, 1 BB) for Caribes de Anzoategui in a 5-3 win over Tigres de Aragua.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
12/4/24 action : RHP Carlos Francisco threw two scoreless innings in relief (1 H, 1 K) for Indios de Mayaguez in a 6-3 loss to Leones de Ponce.
Panama Winter League :
12/4/24 action : Rain has cancelled play the last two days - in the three games played by Aguilas Metropolitanas catcher Eduardo Tait is 4 for 11 (.364). Former Phillies minor league RHP Harold Arauz is also playing in the league.
Nicuaraga Winter League :
12/4/24 action : games were postponed due to rain.
Colombia Winter League :
12/4/24 action : former Phillies minor league outfielder Jhailyn Ortiz went 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs for the Toros de Sincelejo in a 12-11 win against Vaqueros de Monteria. Former Phillies minor league RHP Brendan Bell pitched a scoreless inning in relief for the Toros and picked up credit for the W. Former Phillies minor league LHP Jhordany Mezquita pitched five innings (2 R, 4 H, 1 BB, 5 K’s) for the Caimanes de Barranquilla in a 4-2 win over the Tigres de Cartagena. Phillies minor league infielder Nolan Beltran walked once in four plate appearances with an RBI in the game for the Tigres - he played both second and third base during the game.
