The last day of High Performance Winter Camp incorporated fielding, conditioning, hitting and pitching activities. Major League Spring Training Camp officially opened for pitchers and catchers.

Batting Practice : Carlton Field
Dante Nori, Luke Davis, Kehden Hettiger and Guillermo Rosario had strong rounds - Hettiger drove the ball over the right field fence a couple times. Dante appears to have made a few swing adjustments, he went yard to right field as well and was driving the ball well, lower hands and seemed quicker thru the ball. Justin Crawford had an excellent round - line drives aplenty - lifted the baseball repeatedly and went yard to right field on his pull side. Eduardo Tait, Devin Saltiban, Otto Kemp and Griffin Burkholder did what they do every time I see them in BP - hammer the baseball. Tait hit a dinger in live BP yesterday that I forgot to mention.
Upcoming Minor League Camp Dates :
A minor league mini-camp with selected players will begin on 2/17 and run thru 2/28/25.
The first full squad workout for official Minor League Spring Training Camp will be 3/3/25. The minor league ST game schedule is as follows, all games 1 PM unless noted :

Multiple bullpen sessions on the seven mounds, PFP’s on Ashburn field and pickoff practices on Schmidt were the drills of the first day. I write primarily about the minor leagues - extensive coverage elsewhere on big league camp.
