Twevlth day for minor league Spring Training Camp. Eighteenth Grapefruit League game of the season.
Grapefruit League Game Eighteen - Phillies 16 Braves 9 (Clearwater)
Scoring Summary :
Trea Turner led off the bottom of the first with a home run. Bryce Harper walked and Alec Bohm doubled. JT Realmuto tripled to score two runs. Max Kepler grounded out to score Realmuto.
Atlanta scored a run in the second on a single and triple.
Oscar Mercado and Trea Turner walked in the second inning, Bryson Stott singled to score Mercado. Kyle Schwarber hit a three run home run. In the bottom of the third three walks and a sacrifice fly by Trea Turner scored a run.
Atlanta scored twice in the fifth on a double, single and ground out.
Bryson Stott homered in the bottom of the fifth. Brandon Marsh walked, went to third on a single by Oscar Mercado and scored on a ground out by Trea Turner.
Max Kepler hit a three run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Atlanta scored three in the eighth on two singles, a walk, hit batter, fielders choice and sacrifice fly.
Rafael Marchan singled in the bottom of the eighth, went to second on a wild pitch and scored on a double by Leandro Pineda. Edmundo Sosa singled to score Pineda.
Atlanta used a hit batter, three walks, a single and wild pitch to score three runs in the ninth.
At the Plate : 16 R, 15 H, 9 BB, 10 K’s
Alec Bohm and Edmundo Sosa each had two hits. Bohm and Leandro Pineda doubled. Trea Turner, Kyle Schwarber, Bryson Stott and Max Kepler homered. Kepler had four RBIs, Schwarber had three.
