I watched a bit of both games - on Roberts field Aaron Combs threw very well, Devin Saltiban and Troy Schreffler homered. Bryson Ware continues to hit the ball hard, he singled and doubled. Felix Reyes hit a hard lined single to left center field while I was there. On Ashburn Marty Gair made his ST game debut - the big right hander had plenty of pop, he has a straight overhand delivery and a nasty hook, both were displayed in his inning of work. Marcus Morgan also impressed with a mid nineties fastball in his inning of work. Avery Owusu-Asiedu had two hits in the Ashburn Field contest.
Will report all the game details tomorrow when they become available.
3/18/25 Minor League Game Two Recap vs Blue Jays :
Catching up on Tuesday’s second game in Dunedin - recently got the information. To read about the other three games on Tuesday use the following link : https://www.philliesbaseballfan.com/post/3-19-25-minor-league-scrimmage-game-recaps-from-3-18-25
Note that some of the runs data in the game recaps may include placed runners for situational practices - I listed the runs scored by pitcher in the “On the Hill” section but not all of the runs may be due to runners who reached base directly against them - just sayin.
