Scoring Summary :
New York scored a run in the second inning on a double, fielding error and ground out. They scored twice in the third inning on a two run home run by Aaron Judge. New York plated four in the fourth on three walks, a hit batter, two singles and a sacrifice fly.
Avery Owusu-Asiedu,Kody Clemens and Josh Breaux singled in the ninth inning. Elio Prado drew a bases loaded walk to plate a run. Luis Verdugo doubled to score two runs. I watched Matt Strahm throw a scoreless frame - he struck out the side, did yield a double. On one of his K’s he actually struck out the batter twice - initially a K was recorded but the third base ump overruled it declaring a pitch clock violation - Strahm then punched out the batter again on the next pitch 🤓.
RH Luis Avila continues to impress, big arm who throws strikes, he went two innings, RH Augusto Calderon is another big arm who had a solid outing today.
