The Tigers scored a run in the third inning on a home run by Kevin McGonigle - he’s from Drexel Hill, PA.
In the bottom of the fifth inning JT Realmuto singled and scored on a Bryson Stott inside the park home run - the center and left fielder’s collided attempting to catch the slicing liner hit by Stott into the gap, he circled the bases as a result when they couldn’t get up to field the ball.
Rafael Marchan singled in the seventh inning, Nick Castellanos walked. Bryson Stott singled to score Marchan. Brandon Marsh singled to score a run.
Jahmal Jones homered for Detroit in the eighth inning.

Phillies have signed RHP Travis Kuhn to a minor league contract. Kuhn's fastball sits 95-96 mph and tops out near 99 mph. He also throws a hard slider that is generally in the upper-80s. Kuhn had been with the Seattle Mariners organization and was their 19th round draft selection from the University of San Diego in 2019. He has pitched at the AA level of play the last three seasons.
