RH Griff McGarry - 4 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 3 BB, 5 K’s - 64 pitches - 36 strikes - had a great slider tonight that was a put away pitch, mixed his pitches well - FB generally in the 93-95 range from what I tracked - hit 97 at least once - the composure and ability to stay square to his target consistently stood out - I watched him this spring and it was similar to last year where he fell off to the side and couldn’t command or control the deliveries - what a difference the first two outings with Reading have been as a starter so far - whomever decided to make him a starter again is looking a freaking genius 🤓 - he was un-hit-able tonight.
