Summary :
Carson Taylor singled in the third inning, he went to third on a single by Gabriel Rincones Jr and scored on a single by Carlos De La Cruz.
Christian McGowan retired the first eight batters he faced before a double, hit batter and double scored two runs for Binghamton in the third inning.
Kendall Simmons smoked a line drive home run (331 feet -98 mph off the bat) over the left field fence in the fourth inning.
Marcus Lee Sang homered to left field in the sixth inning.
Binghamton scored a run in the sixth inning on a fielding error, wild pitch and single.
The game went into extra innings tied at three. Binghamton won the game in the eighth scoring the placed runner with a single.

A fielding error (missed pop-up) and two doubles scored two runs for Binghamton in the 6th.
Marcus Lee Sang tripled in the 7th, William Simoneit was hit by a pitch. Jose Rodriquez reached on an error - Lee Sang scored. Robert Moore singled to score a run. A wild pitch allowed another run to score.
In the 8th Trevor Schwecke singled and Marcus Lee Sang walked to load the bases with the placed runner already on board. William Simoneit doubled to score two runs. Casey Martin hit a sacrifice fly to score a run.

Zach Arnold tripled in the third inning, he scored on a single by Erick Brito.
A walk, fielding error,hit batter and bases loaded walk scored a run for Brooklyn in the seventh. A hit batter, wild pitch and two walks scored three more.
Chad Castillo and Zach Arnold singled in the seventh, two walks followed to force in a run. Justin Crawford was hit by a pitch to force in another run. Felix Reyes hit a high pop to short (called infield fly rule) that the wind took and was missed by the shortstop - a run scored in the play (I should have mentioned earlier the wind was gusting left to right like crazy 😳).
Brooklyn scored two runs in the 8th inning on a walk and three singles.

Jean Cabrera was “stupendous” as my friend Greg Giombarrese put it on the broadcast 👍👏👀 - 6 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s - 87 pitches - 52 strikes - he’s now posted a 0.56 ERA in three games (16 IP) with only 4 walks and 18 K’s 🔥 with a 0.94 WHIP. Danny Wilkinson pitched 2/3 of an inning - 3 R, 0 H, 1 HB, 1 BB, 2 K’s. Daniel Harper inherited three runners, they all scored - he did not record an out - faced 4 batters - 3 walks, 1 HBP - 1 R. Gunner Mayer pitched an inning - 2 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 1 K. Andrew Walling pitched 1.1 innings - 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s.

Avery Owusu-Asiedu walked in the 6th, Nikau Pouaka-Grego was hit by a pitch. They both advanced on a wild pitch, a run scored on a fielders choice.

Ethan Chenault pitched an inning - 3 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 K. Jose Pena Jr pitched two innings, 1 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s 🔥👀 - FB hit 96 mph, nasty slider to go with it.

Keaton Anthony had three hits (two singles, double). Nikau Pouaka-Grego and Ricardo Rosario doubled.
Defensive Gems :
Center fielder Avery Owusu-Asiedu made a tremendous over the shoulder catch banging into the fence on a hard hit ball (102 mph off the bat) in the second inning - robbed at least a double 👀.
Third baseman Nikau Pouaka-Grego made a diving stop of a hard ground down the line, jumped to his feet and threw a seed to first base to record the out - he too stole a double👀.
