International League ( AAA ) - Gwinnett 6 (10-9) Lehigh Valley 3 (13-7)

Coolray Field•Lawrenceville, GA


Scoring Summary :


Buddy Kennedy and Oscar Mercado walked in the second inning. Rodolfo Castro doubled to score a run. Mercado was thrown out at the plate. Josh Breaux singled, Rafael Lantigua singled to score a run.


Matthew Batten homered for Gwinnett in the bottom of the second.  Eddys Leonardhomered in the third.


Buddy Kennedy and Oscar Mercado singled in the fourth inning.  A wild pitch advanced them. Kennedy scored on a sacrifice fly by Josh Breaux.


A double and single scored two runs in the fifth on a double, single, fielding error (Buddy Kennedy) and sacrifice fly.


A single, walk, stolen base, balk and single scored two runs for Gwinnett in the seventh.


At Bat : 3 R, 8 H, 5 BB, 9 K’s


Buddy Kennedy had two hits (single & triple) and two walks. Rodolfo Castro and Justin Crawford each doubled.

Nick Morabito and Ryan Clifford hit back to back home runs for Binghamton in the third inning.


A single, stolen base and single scored a 4th inning run for Binghamton.


Jeff McNeil (on MLB rehab assignment) homered for Binghamton in the seventh inning.


Cade Fergus tripled in the seventh inning and scored on a throwing error.

Trent Farquhar doubled and Cade Fergus tripled.

Scoring Summary :


Enmanuel Terrero homered for Greensboro in the second inning. A single, walk and single scored a run. Javier Rivas hit a three run home run.


Lonnie White Jr. homered for Greensboro in the third inning.


A walk, two hit batters and a sacrifice fly scored a run for Greensboro in the fourth.


Jersey Shore was no hit thru 6.2 innings - Luke Davis singled for the first hit. Zach Arnold and Pierce Bennett followed with singles.  Raylin Heredia tripled to score them all. Luis Caicuto singled to score Heredia.


A single, double and ground out scored a run for Greensboro in the bottom of the seventh. A single scored another run.


At Bat : 4 R, 6 H, 2 BB, 9 K’s


Raylin Heredia tripled and posted three RBIs. Pierce Bennett had two hits (singles)

A walk, throwing error (Pitcher Marty Gair) and single scored a fifth inning run for Palm Beach.


Two singles and a double scored a 6th inning run for Palm Beach.


Aroon Escobar singled in the eighth inning, Dante Nori walked.  Two groundouts advanced and then scored Escobar.
