Scoring Summary :
A triple and balk scored a run for Columbus in the second inning.
Rafael Lantigua walked in the third inning, Justin Crawford doubled. Buddy Kennedygrounded out to score Lantigua.
Cade Fergus singled in the seventh inning, he then stole second base and scored on a single by Otto Kemp.
At Bat : 2 R, 5 H, 5 BB, 11 K’s

RH Mick Abel - 7 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s - 82 pitches - 52 strikes - he was outstanding - pitched out of a first and third one out jam in the 7th by rolling a 6-4-3 DP - great composure - FB range 94 to 99 mph (threw both sinker and four seamer) - last pitch was a 95 mph sinker. Used his slider as primary secondary - great bite and command - brought in the curve and change up later in the outing - really good outing - very happy for the young man - great person!

CLIPPER CONNECTION: Plenty of form ‘Pigs dot the Columbus roster and coaching staff. Most prominently, Clippers Manager Andy Tracy was one of the original faces of the IronPigs franchise, starring for the club from 2008-2010. A single and walk put two runners on for Brooklyn in the third inning, in a bizarre play with two outs the batter hit a pop-up just beyond the back of the mound - the infielders converged but no one appeared to take charge till third baseman Carson DeMartini attempted to. He missed it and the ball bounded high off the ground - both runners scored as the BlueClaws attempted to chase them down with throws 😳 - an error was charged to DeMartini.
Jordan Viars singled in the fifth, Raylin Heredia walked. Bryan Rincon singled to score Viars.
