Justin Crawford doubled in the first inning, went to third on a single by Otto Kemp and scored on a single by Brandon Marsh. Marsh stole second base. Garrett Stubbs singled to score Kemp. Oscar Mercado singled to score Marsh. Erick Brito singled to score Stubbs. Rodolfo Castro singled to score Mercado.
A walk, double and fielding error (Pitcher Kyle Tyler) scored two runs for Columbus in the fourth inning.
