Live BP :

Right hander Danyony Pulido threw a live BP on Schmidt Field - I watched a bit, fastball was jumping - he’s been dealing with some shoulder discomfort from Spring Camp and is working his way back. Last season he made 18 appearances (15 starts) posting a 3.72 ERA in 65.1 IP with 77 K’s and 41 walks. Danyony began the year with the FCL Phillies making 8 appearances (7 starts) before bumping up to the Clearwater Threshers on 7/4/24 where he made 10 appearances (8 starts) amassing 33.2 IP posting a 2.94 ERA with 38 K’s and 23 walks.  He also started and pitched 4.1 scoreless innings in the playoffs for the Threshers.  He features a four seamer (93-97 mph last year - was flashing higher this spring), slider, curve, change up and a cutter. He relies primarily on his fastball and slider. He’s a big body twenty-two year old with a big arm - hopefully will be back in game action soon.

Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️
