“Based on records kept, this is the first time in franchise history the 'Pigs have endured four straight postponements. The closest the franchise have come prior is the opening series of 2016 where the 'Pigs were supposed to open in Syracuse, but snow forced the series to be moved to Allentown, where the final two games of the series were PPD anyways. The following game, in Rochester naturally, was PPD as well. In total, it was four PPDs in five days.” - Sam Jellinek - Manager, Broadcasting & Media Relations - Lehigh Valley IronPigs

Today at the Complex - Player Development Center Training :
Side Bullpens : Maxwell Hernandez, Dylan Covey, Luis Avila, Danyony Pulido, Cam Brown, Adilson Peralta
Live BP : LH Juan Amarante
I watched Amarante for the first time, as mentioned in a previous article he’s got a looping curve ball and a fadeaway change up. We saw both in today’s ten minute session as he faced Eduardo Tait and AJ Shaver as hitters. Tait lined a single to center against him but he does that against everyone 🤓. Guillermo Rosario was the catcher for the session.
