Center fielder Jordan Luplow caught a fly ball with one out and the bases loaded in the second inning and made a perfect throw to home plate to nail the base runner who had tagged up from third base to complete an inning ending double play 👀💪.

Cody Roberts had a huge hit Thursday, a three-run homer, his first long ball of the season. He's 6-for-15 this season and has even chipped in a 1-2-3 inning on the mound. Roberts is facing his old organziation as he was drafted by the Orioles
in 2018 out of UNC. The Phillies took Roberts in the 2022 MiLB Rule 5 Draft.

Summary :
Kendall Simmons doubled in the second inning, went to third on a ground out by Marcus Lee Sang and scored on a ground out by Trevor Schwecke.
Richmond scored three runs in the 6th inning on two singles and two doubles.
Marcus Lee Sang singled in the seventh, Casey Martin walked. Arturo De Freitas singled to score two runs.
Richmond scored five runs in the 8th inning on two walks, a stolen base, throwing error (Arturo DeFreitas), three singles and a sacrifice fly.

Matt Osterberg pitched well - 6 IP, 3 R, 6 H, 0 BB, 9 K’s - 83 pitches - 59 strikes - at one point had retired 11 batters in order.

Leandro Pineda singled in the second inning, went to third base on a single by Felix Reyes and scored on a sacrifice fly by Andrick Nava.
A walk, stolen base and single scored a run for Hudson Valley in the fifth.
A walk, single and wild pitch scored a run for Hudson Valley in the sixth. A single scored another run. Kiko Romero hit a two run home run to add a couple more.
Four walks scored a run for HV in the 8th inning.
Cade Fergus and Erick Brito singled in the 9th inning, Otto Kemp singled to score a run. Kemp advanced to second on defensive indifference - he scored on a single by Leandro Pineda.

Bryan Rincon hit his first two High-A home runs in the games on May 15th and 16th at Hudson Valley. He has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, over which he is 12-39 with three doubles, five walks and two home runs. Rincon began the year 2-28 but since then is 15-52. Rincon joined the BlueClaws on August 16th last year with Justin Crawford and they were the 799th and 800th players to play for the BlueClaws. Rincon was a 14th round pick in 2022 from Shaler Area HS in Pittsburgh, where he went after growing up in Venezuela.

Rafael Marchan and Bryson Ware hit home runs in the third inning.
Three singles and a double scored two runs for Daytona in the 4th inning.
Aidan Miller walked in the 5th inning, Rafael Marchan singled. Keaton Anthony singled to score a run. Devin Saltiban doubled to score another.
Trent Farquhar walked in the 6th inning and scored on a double by Aidan Miller.
Daytona scored a run in the 8th on a single, two walks and a ground out.
Keaton Anthony doubled in the 8th inning, Bryson Ware walked. Devin Saltiban doubled to score them both. Kehden Hettiger and Raylin Heredia walked. A wild pitch scored Saltiban. With two outs in the inning Daytona brought in one of their catchers to pitch. Trent Farquhar doubled to score two runs.
Daytona scored a run in the 9th on four walks.
