Kolby Allard, who is on the Phillies 40 man roster, was transferred to Reading from the FCL-Phillies to make the start tonight. Allard signed with the Phillies on January 23 and was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on March 19. He made eight appearances and three starts with the IronPigs and was 0-4, with a 10.71 ERA. The Phillies assigned Allard to the FCL-Phillies on May 9. Allard only appeared in six games last season between Atlanta (4) and Triple-A Gwinnett (2). He pitched for the Rangers from 2020-22, making his big-league debut with Texas in 2020. Allard is also expected to appear on Sunday.

Cade Fergus went 1-3 on Friday and is 13-45 with two HRs and three SBs in his last 13 games. He has two home runs on the last homestand, including a blast on May 9th. He now has three on the season and 19 in his career. Fergus also went deep on May 3rd to break a 3-3 tie and give the BlueClaws the lead. He already has seven steals this year after he stole 14 last year between Clearwater (10) and Jersey Shore (4). He was a 13th round pick in 2022 from George Washington University and played at St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Fort Lauderdale.

Summary :
Bryson Ware struck out in the third inning but reached on a wild pitch regardless. A passed ball sent him to second, he stole third. Nikau Pouaka-Grego singled to score him.
A fielding error (second baseman Nikau Pouaka-Grego) allowed a St Lucie runner to reach in the bottom of the third, a double then scored him to tie the game.
Kehden Hettiger, Pierce Bennett and Jordan Viars walked in the 4th inning, they all scored on a double down the left field line by Dakota Kotowski.
A triple (line drive that was misread by center fielder Raylin Heredia) and single scored a St Lucie run in the bottom of the fourth.
The St Lucie Mets plated two runs in the 5th on a walk, hit batter and double.
Dakota Kotowski singled in the 7th inning, stole second base, went to third on a force at second (Bryson Ware - walked) on which Nikau Pouaka-Grego reached base and scored on a wild pitch. Raylin Heredia singled to score Pouaka-Grego. Kehden Hettiger singled to score Heredia.
A double and triple scored a St Lucie run in the 8th inning. A two run home run by Willy Fanas tied the score.
The game went into extra innings.
Neither team scored in the 10th. Ethan Chenault struck out the side in the bottom of the 10th 👀.
With placed runner Avery Owusu-Asiedu at second base Dakota Kotowski walked to lead off the 11th. Jared Thomas put down a sacrifice bunt fielded by the pitcher but no one covered first for St Lucie so it became a single. With one out Devin Saltiban walked to score a run. A 6-4-3 double play ended the frame.

Defensive Gems :
Right fielder Jordan Viars made a clutch running catch on a line drive hit into the right center field gap to end the 6th inning. Catcher Kehden Hettiger made three great stops of balls in the dirt in extra innings to keep runs from scoring - excellent!
