International League ( AAA ) - Lehigh Valley 9 (2-2, 36-41) Durham 3 (2-2, 38-41)

Summary :


Aramis Garcia and Scott Kingery singled in the second inning, they scored on a home run by Cal Stevenson.


René Pinto homered for Durham in the second inning.  A single, stolen base, fly out and sacrifice fly scored another.


Cal Stevenson doubled in the 5th inning, he scored on a single by Weston Wilson.  Ruben Cardenas hit a two run home run.


Buddy Kennedy walked in the 7th, Ruben Cardenas reached on an error.  Darick Hall singled to score a run.  A double steal scored a run.


Weston Wilson homered in the ninth inning.


Rob Brantly homered for Durham in the bottom of the ninth.


At Bat : 9 R, 10 H, 1 BB, 12 K’s


Ruben Cardenas and Cal Stevenson each had two hits (double & HR), Cardenas had two RBIs, Stevenson had three.  Weston Wilson had two hits (single & HR - two RBIs).  Buddy Kennedy doubled.


On The Hill : 3 R, 6 H, 4 BB, 7 K’s


A decent outing for Mick Abel - 5 IP, 2 R, 4 H, 3 BB, 5 K’s - 79 pitches - 50 strikes.  Tyler McKay pitched two perfect innings - 1 K - 19 pitches - 14 strikes.  Jonah Dipoto went an inning - 0 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 0 K’s - 14 pitches - 8 strikes.  Nick Nelson pitched an inning - 1 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 17 pitches - 11 strikes.

The 'Pigs have been the best in the IL in throwing out base stealers. The 'Pigs have caught 37 runners, which is 9 more than anyone else in the league. They've only allowed 65 stolen bases total as well, which is tied for seventh fewest in the league. Aramis Garcia has the most CS in all of MiLB. with 24. Summary :


A triple and sacrifice fly scored a run for Bowie in the first inning.


Trevor Schwecke singled and Baron Radcliff doubled in the second inning, they scored on a home run by Ethan Wilson.


Marcus Lee Sang homered in the fifth inning.  Carlos De La Cruz tripled, Caleb Ricketts was hit by a pitch.  Otto Kemp singled to score a run.  Robert Moore hit a three run home run.


Matthew Etzel homered for Bowie in the 6th inning.  Two walks, a throwing error and single scored a run in the seventh.


Caleb Ricketts walked in the seventh, he scored on a double by Otto Kemp.   Trevor Schwecke doubled to score Kemp.


On The Hill : 3 R, 9 H, 4 BB, 11 K’s


Robinson Pina pitched six innings - 2 R, 7 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s - 82 pitches - 55 strikes.  Matt Russell went two innings - 1 unearned R, 1 H, 3 BB, 2 K’s - 50 pitches - 29 strikes.  Daniel Harper pitched an inning - 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 3 K’s - 22 pitches - 14 strikes.


At Bat : 10 R, 11 H, 4 BB, 11 K’s


Four players had two hits -  Otto Kemp (single & double), Trevor Schwecke (single & double), Robert Moore (double & HR - 3 RBIs) and Baron Radcliff (single & double).  Carlos De La Cruz tripled. Ethan Wilson (3 RBIs) and Marcus Lee Sang homered.

Caleb Ricketts walked and was hit by a pitch, he scored twice.

Summary :


Two walks, a balk and single scored two runs for Greensboro in the second inning.


A fielding error and two singles loaded the bases Greensboro in the third inning. Nick Cimillo hit a grand slam home run.


A hit batter, walk, triple and passed ball scored three runs for Greensboro in the fifth.


Lonnie White Jr homered for Greensboro in the seventh inning.


Felix Reyes doubled in the bottom of the seventh and scored on a single by Keaton Anthony.


A hit batter, two walks, double, sacrifice fly and single scored four runs for Greensboro in the ninth.


On The Hill : 14 R, 9 H, 6 BB, 14 K’s


Jean Cabrera went four innings - 6 R - 5 earned - 5 H, 3 BB, 4 K’s - 83 pitches - 55 strikes.  Jaydenn Estanista went three innings - 4 runs - 3 earned, 2 H, 1 HB,  1 BB, 7 K’s - 49 pitches - 33 strikes.  Dominic Pipkin pitched an inning - 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 19 pitches - 16 strikes.  Mason Ronan pitched an inning - 4 R, 2 H, 1 HB, 2 BB, 1 K - 30 pitches - 16 strikes.


At Bat :  1 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 14 K’s


Keaton Anthony had three hits (singles).  Felix Reyes had two hits (single & double).

A South Atlantic League starting pitcher has thrown 100 pitches seven times in a game this season – all seven are BlueClaws.  Sam Aldegheri has done it three times (including 103 on June 13th), Jean Cabrera has done it three times (including a league-high 110 on Wednesday at Brooklyn), and Braeden Fausnaught has done it once. Summary :


Devin Saltiban singled in the first inning, stole second base and went to third on a throwing error.  He scored on a sacrifice fly by Pierce Bennett.


Solomon Maguire hit a two run home run for Bradenton in the second inning.


Jordan Viars singled in the third, Devin Saltiban walked.  A wild pitch moved them up.  Pierce Bennett singled to score a run.

Bryson Ware doubled to score two runs.


Avery Owusu-Asiedu homered in the fourth inning.


The game went into rain delay in the top of the seventh.  It was eventually called.


On The Hill : 2 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 8 K’s


Wen Hui Pan opened and pitched two perfect innings - 4 K’s - 22 pitches - 16 strikes - 97-99 mph fastball tonight.  Josh Bortka went an inning - 2 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s - 24 pitches - 13 strikes. Brandon Beckel went 3 innings, 0 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s -  36 pitches - 21 strikes.


At Bat : 5 R, 8 H, 1 BB, 10 K’s


Jordan Viars had two hits (singles).  Bryson Ware doubled. Avery Owusu-Asieduhomered.  Ware and Pierce Bennett posted two RBIs.

Summary :


The Tigers scored in the first on a walk and triple.


Meylin De Leon singled in the second and advanced to third on a throwing error, he scored on a sacrifice fly by David Freitas.


A hit batter and two walks loaded the bases in the third inning - Esterling Rodriquez walked to score a run. Meylin De Leon grounded out to score another.  A wild pitch scored the third run of the frame.


The Tigers plated five runs in the fourth inning - a hit batter, two wild pitches - one scored a run.  A double scored another followed by a fielding error which scored the third run, another double scored two more.


Adrian Garcia doubled in the fifth inning, a wild pitch sent him to third, Maylerson Casanova walked.  Esterling Rodriquez grounded out to score Garcia. Meylin De Leon singled to score a run.


Ibrahim Ruiz doubled, Leny Carela and Adrian Garcia walked in the sixth, Maylerson Casanova reached on a throwing error by the first baseman, two runs scored.  Esterling Rodriguez singled to score a run.


Meylin De Leon singled in the seventh inning and scored on a double by David Freitas. Ibrahim Ruiz reached on a fielding error by the second baseman, Freitas went to 3rd.  A wild pitch scored Freitas.  Leny Carela reached on a throwing error, Ruiz scored.


The Tigers scored twice in the bottom of the seventh on two fielding errors, a walk and single.


On The Hill : 8 R, 5 H, 3 BB, 8 K’s


Pedro Peralta started and pitched 3.2 innings - 6 R - 3 earned, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s.  Fernando Ramos went 3.1 innings - 2 unearned runs, 1 H, 1 BB, 4 K’s.


At Bat : 12 R, 8 H, 6 BB, 8 K’s


Meylin De Leon had three hits (singles) with two RBIs, he also scored two runs.  Adrian Garcia doubled and walked, he scored three runs.  Ibrahim Ruiz and David Freitas each doubled.  Maylerson Casanova singled and walked twice, he stole a base and scored two runs.  Esterling Rodriguez singled and walked and posted three RBIs.


Dominican Summer League - Tigers2 5 (10-9) Phillies White 2 (7-12) - seven innings

Summary :


The Tigers scored three runs in the 4th inning on a single, double, wild pitch and single.  They added two more in the fifth on a home run by Steven Madero.


Andres Hernandez singled in the 6th, Freiderman Aguilera walked.  A wild pitch moved them up a base and a fielding error allowed Hernandez to score.


Denilson Aguila singled in the 7th, moved up on a wild pitch and fielding error and scored on a groundout by Freiderman Aguilera.


On The Hill : 5 R, 9 H, 5 BB, 6 K’s


Eduardo Robles pitched four innings - 3 R, 5 H, 3 BB, 2 K’s.  John Sosa pitched two innings - 2 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 3 K’s. Gelson Carpio went an inning - 0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K.


At Bat : 2 R, 5 H, 3 BB, 6 K’s


Andres Hernandez had two hits (singles).
