William Bergolla - Second basemen - 19 years old - Jersey Shore - signed as an international free agent 1/15/22 - Valencia, Venezuela. Had a .421/.507/.596 slash line in 72 plate appearances with a 1.103 OPS - 24 hits, 9 runs, 11 walks, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 5 stolen bases - DNP after 6/22 due to hamstring strain, placed on IL 6/27.
Eduardo Tait - Catcher - 17 years old - FCL Phillies - signed as an international free agent 1/15/23 - Panama City, Panama. Posted a .318/.390/.652 slash line in 77 plate appearances with a 1.042 OPS, 21 hits, 5 doubles, 1 triple and 5 home runs with 22 RBIs. Had 6 walks and scored 9 runs.
Keaton Anthony - 23 years old - Clearwater/Jersey Shore - signed as an un-drafted free agent 7/18/23 - University of Iowa.
Posted a .375/.438/.609 slash line in 74 plate appearances with a 1.048 OPS - 12 runs scored, 24 hits, 3 doubles, 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, 12 runs and 7 walks. Alirio Ferrebus - Catcher - 18 years old - DSL Phillies Red/FCL Phillies - signed 1/15/23 as an international free agent - Maracaibo, Venezuela. In 56 total plate appearances had a .378/.464/.711 slash line with a 1.175 OPS - 12 runs, scored, 17 hits, 6 doubles, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 walks. He went 2 for 5 in his FCL debut on 6/29 with a double and two runs scored.
Buddy Kennedy - Infielder - 25 years old - Lehigh Valley - acquired from Tigers in trade 6/7/24. Had a .344/.461/.656 slash line and 1.117 OPS in 76 PA’s with 21 hits, 16 runs, 7 doubles, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 13 walks.

Jorge Julio - Outfielder - 17 years old - DSL Phillies White - signed as an international free agent 1/15/23 - Barquisimeto, Venezuela. In 46 plate appearances had a .325/.413/.500 slash line with a .913 OPS - 6 runs, 3 doubles, 2 triples, 6 walks and 8 RBIs.
Trevor Schwecke - Infielder - 26 years old - Reading/Lehigh Valley - selected in 12/6/23 minor league rule five draft from Blue Jays. Was Toronto’s 2019 13th round draft choice - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Pitcher of the Month :
RH Robinson Pina - Reading - 25 years old - signed as free agent 12/11/23 - was originally signed by the Angels 2/15/17 as an international free agent from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. Posted a 4-0 record, and 2.51 ERA over five starts (28.2 IP). He had a 0.94 WHIP with 28 K’s and just 3 walks. Won the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week award the second week of the month when he threw a seven inning complete game shutout. He is 9-2 for the season with a 3.46 ERA in 67.2 IP with 76 strikeouts and a minuscule 9 walks - if you want a strike throwing starter, he’s the guy.
LH Mavis Graves - Clearwater - 20 years old - 2022 6th round draft choice - Eastside High School, Taylors, SC. Followed up a strong month of May with an even better June - had a 1.71 ERA in four starts (21 IP) with a whopping 37 K’s and only 6 walks - 1.10 WHIP - .215 BAA - was recognized as the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week for week three when he threw six shutout frames and struck out ten batters in his start. Has a 2.48 ERA for the season in 12 games (58 IP) with 87 K’s and 20 walks.
RH Max Lazar - Lehigh Valley - 25 years old - signed as a free agent 12/8/23 - was Brewers 2017 11th round draft selection - Coral Springs High School, Coral Springs, FL. In 11 appearances (12.1 IP) didn’t allow an earned run (0.00 ERA) - two unearned runs for the month, 4 hits, struck out 14 batters and walked just two. Posted 6 saves in 7 opportunities. Had a .098 BAA, 0.49 WHIP. In 17 games total with LHV has a 0.47 ERA (19.1 IP) with 8 saves, 21 K’s and 4 walks. A minuscule 0.62 WHIP and a .123 BAA.
