After selecting twenty players in the draft the Phillies continue the process of bringing in new talent as they’ve extended offers to three un-drafted players.
C Luke Davis - Long Beach City Junior College - 21 years old - was the All-South Coast Conference Most Valuable Player. He had a .410 batting average, 25 RBIs, 10 doubles and a .846 slugging percentage, and was amongst the leaders in the conference with 8 home runs. Overall in 45 games he posted a .373 BA with 47 RBIs.
RHP Zack Tukis - Millersville University - is from Mechanicsburg, Pa - went to Cumberland Valley High School - played for the Williamsport CrossCutters in the draft league - in three seasons at Millersville pitched in 19 games (24.1 IP) posting 38 K’s.
3B Raider Tello - University of Iowa - “The El Monte, California, native led the team hitting .357 in 54 games this season. Tello notched 79 hits, 19 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs. He plated 60 RBIs and scored 51 runs. Tello appeared in 113 career games for Iowa over two seasons with a .335 batting average. He recorded 155 hits, scored 98 runs, hit 33 doubles and had 11 home runs. Tello tallied 110 RBIs and had a .963 fielding percentage on 242 chances.” - Hawkeye Sports
