Buddy Kennedy homered in the first inning.


Stone Garrett homered for Rochester in the second inning.


Rodolfo Castro homered in the fourth inning.


Cal Stevenson singled in the 5th and scored on a triple by Kody Clemens.  Darick Hall singled to score Clemens.


A single, walk, double and single sequence scored two runs for Rochester in the 6th inning.  A single, two walks and a sacrifice fly scored a run in the seventh.


David Dahl singled in the 8th, he scored on a home run by Scott Kingery (18th).  Jim Haley singled, stole second and scored when Cody Roberts singled.  Cal Stevenson walked.  Kody Clemens walked, Darick Hall doubled to score three runs.


Scott Kingery homered (19th) in the ninth inning.


At Bat : 11 R, 14 H, 6 BB, 8 K’s


Scott Kingery hit two home runs and had three RBIs.   Darick Hall singled and doubled on his 29th birthday and posted four RBIs.  Buddy Kennedy singled, homered (11th) and walked.  Jim Haley and Cody Roberts each had two hits (singles).  Cal Stevenson walked three times and scored twice.  Kody Clemens doubled and walked, scored twice.

Hidden in the 10-2 win Wednesday for the 'Pigs was a new season-high 18 hits...but also managed to tie a season-high by stranding 14 runners on base. It was the 36th time the 'Pigs have gotten 10+ hits this season and they are now 27-9 when they do so. - Media Notes

Summary :


Carson Taylor singled in the second inning, Otto Kemp doubled.  Leandro Pineda hit a three run home run.


New Hampshire ended a 40 inning scoreless streak in the second inning - they scored two runs on a single, triple and wild pitch.


Carson Taylor tripled in the fourth inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Otto Kemp.


A walk, stolen base, ground out and single scored a run for New Hampshire in the seventh inning.  A single and double scored another run.


New Hampshire scored the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth with two outs on a single, walk and single.


On The Hill : 5 R, 13 H, 5 BB, 8 K’s


Christian McGowan pitched three innings - 2 R, 4 H, 1 HB, 0 BB, 4 K’s - 41 pitches - 30 strikes.  Jean Cabrera pitched four innings - 2 R, 7 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 67 pitches - 49 strikes.  Konnor Ash pitched 1/3 of an inning - 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 1 K - 16 pitches - 5 strikes.  Tommy McCollum pitched 1.1 innings - 1 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 2 K’s - 38 pitches - 24 strikes.

With their win yesterday, the Fightin Phils have posted nine-inning shutouts in back-to-back games. It was also the sixth shutout of the season for Reading, which by far and away surpasses last season’s total of three. The last time Reading posted back-to-back nine-inning shutouts was from July 12-13 of 2022, against New Hampshire. Dating back to 2005, Reading has not had a shutout in three-straight games. Additionally, Reading piching has not allowed a run in 22-straight innings, which is a season best, and also their longest scoreless-inning streak since also going 22 in a row scoreless from July 10-14, 2022. Dating back to 2005, Reading’s longest scoreless-inning streak was 24 innings from Aug. 19-22, of the 2013 season. - Media Notes

Summary :


A walk, stolen base, wild pitch and throwing error by catcher Jordan Dissin allowed a run to score for Aberdeen in the seventh inning.


Hendry Mendez and Trent Farquhar singled in the bottom of the seventh. They advanced on a wild pitch.  Zach Arnold hit a sacrifice fly to score Mendez.


The game went into extra innings.


Aberdeen scored a run in the top of the 10th on a ground out to send the placed runner to third and a sacrifice fly to score him.


Zach Arnold singled in the bottom of the 10th to score placed runner Trent Farquhar.


A groundout and passed ball scored a run for Aberdeen in the eleventh.


In the bottom of the 11th Emaarion Boyd was hit by a pitch and William Bergolla beat out a bunt for a single to load the bases with placed runner Jordan Dissin moving to third base.  Two great defensive plays by Aberdeen followed - Aidan Miller hit a high chopper to second base that the fielder jumped high into the air and threw home for the force out.  Keaton Anthony hit a fly ball to center field which was caught, the center fielder threw a strike to the plate to nail Boyd for the final out of the game.

Braeden Fausnaught pitched four innings - 0 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 7 K’s - 69 pitches - 42 strikes.  Estibenzon Jimenez pitched an inning - 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 0 K’s - 15 pitches - 9 strikes.  Benyony Robles pitched an inning - 0 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 0 K’s - 27 pitches - 13 strikes.  Gunner Mayer pitched two innings - 1 unearned R, 1 H, 3 BB, 5 K’s - 49 pitches - 24 strikes.  Paxton Thompson pitched two innings - 1 unearned R, 0 H, 3 BB, 1 K - 32 pitches - 17 strikes.  Jack Dallas pitched an inning - 1 unearned R, 0 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 10 pitches - 8 strikes.

Game One : Clearwater 8 Tampa 0 - seven innings


Summary : completion of suspended game from 7/24


Starlyn Caba singled in his first AB as a Thresher to lead off the game, he then promptly stole both second and third base.  Devin Saltiban walked.  Tjayy Walton singled to score Caba and send Saltiban to third base.  Walton stole second base.  Raylin Heredia hit a three run home run.


Devin Saltiban and Kehden Hettiger walked in the third inning, they both scored on a triple by Raylin Heredia.


The game went into weather delay in the middle of the third inning.  It was eventually suspended and resumed at this point at 4 PM today.


It was once again delayed for weather in the middle of the fourth inning.  Play resumed at 8 PM.


In the sixth inning Starlyn Caba, Devin Saltiban and Tjayy Walton all walked to load the bases.   Kehden Hettiger grounded into a force out with Caba out at home but a throwing error by Tampa’s catcher allowed two runs to score.


On The Hill : 0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s


Jordan Fowler pitched two innings - 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 0 K’s - 23 pitches - 16 strikes.  Alex Garbrick pitched an inning - 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 16 pitches - 11 strikes.  Brandon Beckel was excellent to finish the shutout - 4 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 HB, 0 BB, 3 K’s - 48 pitches - 31 strikes.

Raylin Heredia had two hits (triple and home run) - five RBIs.  Devin Saltiban singled, walked three times and scored twice.  Starlyn Caba singled, walked twice , stole three bases and scored a run. Kehden Hettiger walked twice.


Game Two : Tampa 7 Clearwater 1 - seven innings


Summary : game started at 9:45 PM


It began to rain again in the bottom of the second inning but then subsided to a mist - they played thru it for the balance of the game.


Two walks and a single scored a run for Tampa in the second frame, a hit batter loaded the bases.  Roderick Arias hit a grand slam home run.


Tampa added two runs in the 4th inning on a single, double and throwing error.


Ezra Farmer walked in the 5th inning, Avery Owusu-Asiedu singled.  A wild pitch moved both runners up a base.  Another wild pitch scored Farmer.


The game finished at 11:45 PM


On The Hill : 7 R, 6 H, 4 BB, 7 K’s


Enrique Segura pitched 1.2 innings - 5 R, 2 H, 2 HB, 4 BB, 1 K - 50 pitches - 18 strikes.  Jonh Henriquez pitched 2.1 innings - 2 R - 1 earned, 2 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s - 41 pitches - 31 strikes.  Jake Eddington pitched two innings - 0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 31 pitches - 21 strikes.


Defensive Gem :


Tampa’s left fielder Jackson Castillo robbed Eduardo Tait of his first Low A level hit with a diving catch on a low liner in the third inning.

Diego Gonzalez had two hits (singles).  Tjayy Walton doubled.


Florida Complex League - Phillies 8 (33-25) Blue Jays 4 (12-44) - seven innings

Last game of the 2024 FCL season for the Phillies squad - finished strong with a W!


Brahian Silva and Yemil Rosario singled in the third inning, Juan Villavicencio doubled to score a run.  A wild pitch allowed a run to score.  Rickardo Perez singled to score a run.


A walk, single and ground out scored a run for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the third inning.


Jerffson Peña walked in the 4th, stole second and scored on a single by Brahian Silva.


A single, walk and double scored two runs for the Blue Jays in the 5th inning.


Juan Villavicencio walked in the seventh inning, then stole second and third base.  Guillermo Rosario walked.  Rickardo Perez grounded out to score a run.  Jerffson Peña walked.  Nolan Beltran singled to score a run and then stole second base. Yemil Rosario singled to score two runs.


On The Hill : 4 R, 6 H, 4 BB, 3 K’s


Josbel Garcia pitched five innings - 3 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 1 K.   Claudio Gatier went one inning - 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 1 K.   Eliecer Bata pitched an inning - 1 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K.

Game One : Phillies White 3 Phillies Red 2 - seven innings


Summary : completion of game started on 7/9/24


Jose Familia walked for Phillies White in the first inning, went to second on a wild pitch, stole third and scored on a ground out.


Freiderman Aguilera walked for Team White in the second inning, he scored when Francisco Loreto singled and Team Red’s center fielder Samuel Estevez made a fielding error.  A hit batter followed by a second fielding error by Estevez scored another run.


Two walks and a single by Maylerson Casanova scored a run for Team Red in the fifth inning.


Joseph Diaz doubled for Team Red in the seventh and scored on a single by Leny Carela.


On The Hill :


Team Red : 3 R, 2 H, 3 BB, 11 K’s


Raymon Rosario pitched four innings - 3 R - 2 earned, 2 H, 2 BB, 5 K’s.  Eligio Arias pitched three scoreless innings - 0 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s

Summary :


Denilson Aguila reached on an error for Team White in the first inning, he stole second and scored on a double by Josueth Quinonez.   Jorge Julio doubled to score Quinonez.


Adrian Garcia singled for Team Red in the second inning and stole second base.  Ibrahim Ruiz reached on a fielding error.  Ruiz stole second base. David Freitas singled to score them both.  Freitas stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error.  He scored on a sacrifice fly by Renair Manrique.  Victor Cardoza hit a solo home run.


Denilson Aguila reached on an error for Team White in the third inning, he scored on a home run by Jaedon Calderon.  Two walks and a hit batter loaded the bases.  Two runs scored on a fielders choice and throwing error by Team Red shortstop Maylerson Casanova.  A double steal scored the fifth run of the inning with Francisco Loreto stealing home.


Francisco Loreto singled for Team White in the 5th inning, he advanced to second on a single by Andres Hernandez.  Loreto went to third on a wild pitch and scored on another wild pitch.


Ibrahim Ruiz singled for Team Red in the 6th inning, advanced to third on a fielding error and then scored on a wild pitch.


On The Hill :


Team Red : 8 R, 7 H, 6 BB, 10 K’s


Pedro Peralta pitched 2.1 innings - 7 R - 2 earned, 4 H, 1 HB, 4 BB, 2 K’s.  Gerardo Lopez went 2.2 innings - 1 R, 2 H, 2 HB, 2 BB, 4 K’s.  Darling Reyes pitched two innings - 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s
