The IronPigs nearly fell victim to a no-hitter on Wednesday, getting their only hit in the seventh inning. It was the first- time this year they were one-hit, and the first time since the second-to-last game of the 2021 season on October 2 against Worcester. It was the second time that season the 'Pigs had been one-hit, as Rochester accomplished the feat on June 9, 2021. Bryson Ware tripled in the fifth inning and scored on a single by Emaarion Boyd. Pierce Bennett singled, Boyd scored on a double play ground out by Troy Schreffler.
