International League ( AAA ) - Lehigh Valley 2 (24-24, 58-63) Rochester 1 (30-20, 68-55)

Summary :


A double and single scored a run for Rochester in the second inning.


Buddy Kennedy homered in the fourth inning.


Aramis Garcia was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the ninth and scored on a double by Cal Stevenson for the walk-off win!


At Bat : 2 R, 6 H, 4 BB, 8 K’s


Buddy Kennedy had two hits (single & HR).  Scott Kingery had two hits (singles) and a walk. Cal Stevenson doubled.


On The Hill : 1 R, 9 H, 0 BB, 10 K’s


Alan Rangel pitched three innings - 1 R, 4 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 34 pitches - 23 strikes.  Nick Nelson pitched four scoreless innings - 3 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s -  56 pitches - 37 strikes.  Zach Haake pitched a perfect inning - 2 K’s - 17 pitches - 11 strikes.   Michael Mercado pitched an inning - 0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 17 pitches - 11 strikes.

Summary :


Justin Crawford singled in the first inning and scored on a double by Carson Taylor.


A walk, stolen base and single scored a first inning run for Binghamton.  They scored a fifth inning run on a walk and double.


Justin Crawford singled in the sixth inning, stole second, went to third on a passed ball and scored on a sacrifice fly by Robert Moore.


Binghamton scored three runs in the sixth inning on a single, two walks and a double.


Justin Crawford singled in the ninth inning, Robert Moore walked.  Crawford scored on a single by Carson Taylor.

Moises Chace pitched 4.2 innings - 2 R, 1 H, 4 BB, 10 K’s 👀 - 89 pitches - 50 strikes. Otto Kemp’s on-base streak reached 20 games following a base hit in the ninth inning of Wednesday night’s game at Binghamton. Kemp became the first Fightin Phils to surpass a 20-game on-base streak since Oliver Dunn had a 22-game on-base streak from May 26 through June 22, of 2023. Carlos De La Cruz also had a 38-game on-base streak from May 12-June 25, of 2023. Kemp’s on-base streak was snapped on Thursday night. - Media Notes

Felix Reyes singled in the first inning and scored on a triple by Emaarion Boyd.


Hendry Mendez singled in the fifth inning and scored on a home run by Felix Reyes.  Emaarion Boyd went back to back.


Jordan Viars singled in the sixth inning, moved up on a groundout and scored out and throwing error and scored on a single by Trent Farquhar.


A single, walk, wild pitch and sacrifice fly scored a run for Brooklyn in the sixth inning.


On The Hill : 1 R, 2 H, 3 BB, 10 K’s


Braydon Tucker pitched six innings - 1 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s - 78 pitches - 49 strikes.  Paxton Thompson pitched a perfect inning - 2 K’s - 14 pitches - 9 strikes.  Jaydenn Estanista pitched a scoreless inning - 0 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 14 pitches - 8 strikes.  Wen Hui Pan pitched a scoreless inning -  0 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 17 pitches - 10 strikes.


At Bat :  5 R, 11 H, 3 BB, 5 K’s


Trent Farquhar had three hits (two singles & double).  Hendry Mendez (two singles), Felix Reyes (single, home run, two RBIs, two runs) and Emaarion Boyd (triple, home run, two RBIs, run scored) each had two hits.  Troy Schreffler doubled.

Coming into tonight Trent Farquhar is 22-82 (.268) with the BlueClaws but has also drawn 12 walks and been hit by six pitches.  He had two hits on Thursday and two more on Friday. Farquhar was hit by three pitches in his July 20th BlueClaws debut in Brooklyn, tying the team single-game record set last year by Nick Ward on 6/6 against Hudson Valley…Farquhar signed as a non-drafted free agent last year out of Michigan State. - Media Notes

Summary :


Carson DeMartini homered in the second inning.


A hit batter, walk, single and sacrifice fly scored a run for Dunedin in the sixth inning.


Dante Nori walked in the bottom of the sixth, went to third on a single by Eduardo Tait and scored on a single by Carson DeMartini.


Three singles, two walks and a double scored three runs for Dunedin in the 8th inning.


Carson DeMartini tripled in the bottom of the eighth and scored on a double by Joel Dragoo.


Avery Owusu-Asiedu and Brady Day walked in the ninth, Dante Nori singled to load the bases.  Eduardo Tait hit a sacrifice fly to score a run.


The game went into extra innings.


Dunedin scored the placed runner in the top of the tenth on two walks and a ground out.


Placed runner John Spikerman moved to third on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th.  Kehden Hettiger walked.  Spikerman scored on a force out grounder by Raider Tello. Avery Owusu-Asiedu singled to send Tello to second base.  Dante Nori singled to score Tello with the walk-off winning run!


On The Hill : 5 R, 5 H, 7 BB, 14 K’s


Micah Ottenbreit pitched six strong innings -had a no hitter thru five frames - 1 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 8 K’s - 83 pitches - 53 strikes.   Eli Trop pitched a perfect inning - 2 K’s - 12 pitches - 8 strikes.  Kyler Carmack pitched 2/3 of an inning - 3 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 1 K’s - 27 pitches - 14 strikes.  Luis Avila pitched 2.1 innings - 1 unearned R, 1 H, 3 BB, 3 K’s - 47 pitches - 28 strikes.


At Bat : 6 R, 10 H, 10 BB, 11 K’s


Carson DeMartini was 3 for 5 (single, triple, HR, two RBIs, two runs scored). Joel Dragoo had two hits (single & double).  Dante Nori had two hits (singles), a walk, run scored and RBI.

Clearwater : C/INF Guillermo Rosario has been placed on the 7-Day Injured List (retroactive to 8/23).  RHP Micah Ottenbreit has been reinstated from the Development List.
