Summary :
After a delayed start the two squads played two innings before the contest went into rain delay in the top of the third inning.
When play resumed three walks and a sacrifice fly scored a run for SWB in the third inning. A double scored and two walks scored two more runs - the game then went into another delay in the middle of the third inning.
The game was suspended.
Two doubles and a single scored two runs for SWB in the fourth inning. Taylor Trammell homered for SWB in the fifth inning, two doubles scored another run.
Matt Kroon homered in the 6th inning.
Two walks and a single scored a SWB run in the seventh.

The Thresher’s didn’t have a hit till the seventh inning when TJayy Walton singled. They loaded the bases in the ninth which included a gutsy 11 pitch walk by Brady Day but could not score.
Lakeland loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth with two outs on a double, intentional walk and walk. Another walk scored the winning run for Lakeland.

Micah Ottenbreit was excellent - 6.2 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 3 BB, 5 K’s - 91 pitches - 59 strikes. Josh Bortka pitched 1.1 innings - 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 3 K’s - 19 pitches - 10 strikes. Jose Peña Jr pitched 2/3 of an inning - 1 R, 1 H, 3 BB, 1 K - 20 pitches - 11 strikes.

Notes :
TJayy Walton left the game in the bottom of the ninth - he appeared to hurt his hand on a swing in the top of the ninth and was also hit by a pitch on the same hand. Hopefully nothing serious as he’s spent a good deal of time on the IL already.

Carson DeMartini has two hits in each of his first three games as a pro. Avery Owusu-Asiedu recorded his fifth multi-hit game as a Thresher. Guillermo Rosario’s fifth inning homer was his first as a Thresher. He set a season-high in Clearwater with three hits and two RBIs. Enrique Segura went 6.0 innings for the sixth time in his professional career. Raylin Heredia tied Bryson Ware for the team lead in RBIs with three to bring his season total to 41. - Media Notes

Summary :
Victor Cardoza doubled in the first inning, two hit batters loaded the bases. Cardoza scored on a wild pitch.
A walk, single, wild pitch and sacrifice fly score a run for the Bombers in the third inning. Two singles, two fielding errors and two wild pitches scored four runs for the Bombers in the fourth inning.
Meylin De Leon doubled in the 4th inning, he scored on a single by Yonkelvin Polanco.
Two singles, a walk, fielding error and wild pitch scored two runs for the Bombers in the 6th inning.

Pedro Peralta pitched four innings - 5 R - 1 earned, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K’s. Henry Ramirez pitched 1.2 innings - 2 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 1 K. Fernando Ramos pitched 3.1 innings and retired all ten batters he faced - six ground outs, one line-out, one fly-out and two K’s. He stranded two inherited runners.

Summary :
Josueth Quinonez doubled in the top of the second inning. Two walks loaded the bases. Santiago Prado singled to score a run. Yhoan Escalona singled to score two runs. Denilson Aguila singled to score a run.
The Yankees scored a run in the bottom of the second on a double and single.
Anderson Navas singled in the third inning, advanced to third base on a fielding error and scored on a passed ball. Santiago Prado reached on a fielder's choice, two walks loaded the bases. Isaac Ramirez hit a sacrifice fly to score a run. A walk, hit batter and wild pitch scored another run.
The Yankees scored a run in the bottom of the third on a double and single.
Jaeden Calderon singled in the seventh, Josueth Quinonez walked. Jorge Julio singled to score a run. A wild pitch scored another run.
