OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY: With his 12th Quality Start on Thursday night, Tyler Phillipswrapped a very solid 2024 campaign for the 'Pigs. The 12 QS is the first time since 2019 (Cole Irvin, 10) a 'Pigs pitcher has had double-digit QS. 12 QS is also the most since Irvin had 15 in 2018 (and Enyel De Los Santos had 14 the same year).
SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW: Until this note he didn't at least. With his run scored on Tuesday night, Scott Kingery now just one shy of Rich Thompson for the most runs scored in franchise history (244) and now needs just two more runs to set the record. The 'Pigs have already seen multiple franchise marks fall this season as Darick Hall is the new record holder for franchise homers and RBI.
