What kind of goofball fan sits in his garage in Florida (concrete walls and a hurricane impact door) during a major hurricane and watches the Phillies on his iPad as hurricane force winds blow outside around him? This idiot 🤓.

While a disappointing end to the season I still say it was fun watching a team of great talent this season - sometimes that’s just not enough to win the trophy - it always comes down to who’s hot and peaking during the playoff tournament.
Anyways whatever the off-season brings and once I get back to normal here (we still have no power and have lots of yard cleanup) I will start writing again about the player development ongoing work. I hope that my efforts are of value to you that read them and to the organization and help somewhat.
My wife and I were very scared last evening - I don’t want to sit thru 85-95 mph wind gusts ever again! In fact we may now move out of Florida and back home to the Philly area (TBD). We survived the most significant hurricane in the Tampa Bay area’s history - it was not pleasant as things banged into our house walls and roof for multiple hours - we were much more fortunate than others in the area here - yet at least part of my mind and observations were still with ya all. Losing stings but it just sets up a chance for a future win to feel even better!
Thanks for a great season - just wanted to say that and let ya know we survived and hope to continue to provision our input on the Phillies minor leagues! Still pursuing my dream of being a Phillies employee one day in this capacity - who knows - maybe someday that happens!
Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️

Good to hear you are safe. Sometimes real life puts baseball into perspective.
