International League ( AAA ) - Lehigh Valley 9 ( 72-62 ) Worcester 5 ( 69-65 )


Allentown, PA - Coca Cola Park


Summary :


Darick Hall homered in the first inning.


Deivy Grullon and Nick Sogard hit back to back doubles to score a run for Worcester in the 3rd inning.  Bobby Dalbec & Emmanuel Valdez singled ( RBI ) to score a second run. Johan Mieses hit a three run home run.


Will Toffey walked in the 4th, went to third on a single by Johan Camargo and scored on an error ( Daniel Robertson reached ).  Jorge Bonifacio doubled to score two runs. Scott Kingery doubled to score Bonifacio. Yairo Munoz singled to move Kingery to third and then stole second base.  Darick Hall singled to score two.


Darick Hall hit his second home run of the game in the 7th inning - this one against a lefty that went far over the right center field wall !  Dustin Peterson walked and went to third on a single by Rafael Marchan.  He scored on a throwing error.


On the Hill :


RH Hans Crouse - 2 2/3 IP, 4 R, 4 H, 0 BB, 4 K’s - 48 pitches - 26 strikes

Darick Hall had three hits ( single & 2 HR’s - 24th ( 33rd overall ) and four RBIs.  Scott Kingery hit two doubles. Jorge Bonifacio doubled.

Eastern League ( AA ) - Reading 5 ( 59-72, 30- 32 ) New Hampshire 4 ( 53-78, 22-40 ) - 10 innings


Reading, PA - First Energy Stadium


Summary :


Jack Conley singled, Madison Stokes was hit by a pitch and Johan Rojas beat out a bunt for a single to load the bases in the 3rd inning.  Carlos De La Cruz grounded out to score a run.   Aldrem Corredor hit a sac fly to score another.


New Hampshire scored in the 4th on a walk, wild pitch and RBI single ( Hugo Cardona ).


The game went into extra innings tied at two.


New Hampshire scored two runs in the top of the 10th on a walk and double ( Phil Clarke ).


Johan Rojas walked in the bottom of the 10th, Carlos De La Cruz tripled to score the placed runner Madison Stokes and Rojas to tie the score.  The next two hitters were walked intentionally to load the bases with no outs.  A wild pitch scored De La Cruz for the walk off win !

Summary :


Connor Pavolony homered for Aberdeen in the third inning.


Baron Radcliff doubled in the 4th inning and advanced to third when Kendall Simmons singled.  Rixon Wingrove doubled to score them both.


Two errors and a single accounted for two Aberdeen runs in the 5th inning.


Hao Yu Lee doubled in the bottom of the fifth and went to third when Baron Radcliff singled.  Kendall Simmons doubled to score them both.  Rixon Wingrove walked, Nicolas Torres singled to score Simmons. Sal Gozzo singled to score Wingrove. Arturo DeFreitas hit a sac fly to score another.  Uziel Viloria singled to plate one more.


Luis Valdez homered for Aberdeen in the seventh.  A double and a single scored another run.


Nicolas Torres singled in the seventh, stole second base and scored on a double by Sal Gozzo.  Gozzo later scored on a wild pitch.


Baron Radcliff homered in the 8th inning.


On the Hill :

Resumption of Friday’s game  - Bradenton 6 Clearwater 2 - seven innings


Summary :


Bradenton scored five runs in the first inning on fivehits ( two singles & a three doubles ) a hit batter and a two walks.  With two outs and the bases loaded in the inning the game went into rain delay.


At 6:07 PM it was announced that the game had been suspended


The game resumed today at this point.


Bradenton scored a run in the second inning on a single and three walks.


Dakota Kotowski homered for Clearwater in the bottom of the second.


Troy Schreffler tripled in the 4th inning and scored on a single by Matt Alifano.

Game Two : Bradenton 4 Clearwater 3


Summary :


Bradenton scored twice in the 1st on four walks, a throwing error and ground out.


Cade Fergus homered in the second inning.


Micah Yonamine homered in the 4th inning.


Bradenton loaded the bases in the 6th on two walks and a hit batter, a single and sac fly scored two runs.


Jamari Baylor walked to lead off the bottom of the 7th, Wilfredo Flores doubled to put runners on second and third with no outs.  Chad Castillo was intentionally walked to load the bases with one out.  Micah Yonamine was hit by a pitch with two outs to force in a run.  Dakota Kotowski smoked a liner but the second baseman caught it for the final out.
